There will be a community wide “parking lot sale” on Sat. Sept. 29 as a fundraiser for a project we are helping to finance at Nyankunde Hospital in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (the replacement of a roof on a hospital chapel that has been derelict in the aftermath of a tribal conflict in the 2000’s there—photo below).

Basically, we will be renting parking spots to anyone who would like to set up and sell items ($10-15 per spot, all funds going to the project), though if people are willing to donate the proceeds from the items they sell to the Nyankunde project they can have the spot at NO COST.
